Patch 1.1.49 (16 August 2017)

We are ultra happy to finally launch our first fan translation: Korean! Everything has been translated by CAYS (작성자) and Kareus (이재훈). We are very grateful for their hard work. They put a lot of love in it (they were very precise about adding the right dialects for the right characters) and we think it will show!

SPOILER ALERT!!!

UPDATES:

• Korean language option (beta) got added. Available from the main menu. psst, there’s a secret song playing on top of the Wumhouse when playing the game in Korean.
• Savefile back-ups. A small extra safety net to avoid corrupt save files. There are also backup files in case you’re the unluckiest person in the world.
• Added a couple of dialogues to help guide the player in Redav Kned’s Guesthouse as some players mentioned they had trouble getting started on that place.

FIXES:

• Gamepad now displays Xbox by default. Of course you can still change the layout to a DS controller through the options.
• Can no longer soft lock the game by pressing escape while watching a warning message in the title screen.
• You can’t soft-lock yourself by running away from Redav Kned’s ritual anymore.
• The stars in the background will appear instantly, rather than flickering for a few seconds (after playing the game for many hours).
• You can no longer fight the Blione leader after defeating Blafknoft.
• A couple of errors from the Bug Report List have been fixed.
• You no longer get asked to leave by Carlo’s phone calls after you’ve been welcomed back into the Wumhouse.

Patch 1.1.36 (02 May 2017)

SPOILER ALERT

UPDATES:

• You can upgrade your whistling technique now. Good luck finding out how!
• Zwepel the Deadly Pumpkin Nightmare Disaster (The Halloween Boss) has been added to Boss Run. If you manage to complete an All Boss Run within 25 minutes, you get 1 chance to beat him. This should not affect your achievements (once you passed the final boss you should be safe to unlock those). However, beating Zwepel would probably guarantee you a #1 spot on the leader boards.
• A couple more balancing tweaks to Easy Mode (BETA).
• There have been some tiny dialogue updates throughout the game, also some bad jokes were added sorry.
• The final boss & Zwepel are now also counted in the "Total bosses" stat.
• Beating the 2 super creepy creatures in Redav Kned's Guesthouse now puts them on a cool down for 5 minutes.
• A couple of SFX have been tweaked/updated.
• A couple more bosses now get a subtle lighting change when you start fighting.
• A small fnuist light that follows you spawns during the final boss when it's getting really dark.
• A couple of changes have been added regarding to paying by equiping a smurt / wondersplenk coin and throwing it on an NPC. It should work a lot quicker now. -
• Currently this is exclusively for the 3 shops in Wondersplenk (where it was most needed).
• Toned down a bit on the extremely colour-flashing-moments in the game that attempted to give you a seizure.
• You can now additionally leave the Tussen warp bubbles by whistling.
• You no longer fall asleep during dialogues, except during Bert Smulder's dialogue or during filmstrips.

Fixes:

• A bunch of typos/grammatical errors throughout the dialogues have been fixed.
• Moving through the tiles in your item inventory while playing in gamepad mode sometimes unexpectedly skipped a tile. Not anymore!
• Your HP stat no longer "randomly" appears in the big Wondersplenk map.
• You can no longer start a conversation with Allesdenker while the projector is starting up.
• You can no longer talk to the Coffee Popo when you're standing outside of the house.
• You can open your inventory now when fighting the "Fnakker Friends".
• Snackbarry no longer disses you by closing his snack bar while you are selling him a dead kneft when it gets dark.
• Balloons should make sound again when you jump on them.
• The Wumhouse is no longer empty when you warp there from Tussen.
• You can no longer kill multiple yellow blocks with 1 gumball.
• Running away after starting the cleaning quest can no longer give you an error.
• A potential error that could happen during the final boss fight has been fixed.

Patch 1.1.12 (07 February 2017)

Updates (since 1.1.6)

Gamepad Optimization:

• Aiming the crosshair optimized to be feel more in sync with the gamepad's control stick.
• You can now use B ( or circle on a playstation controller) to whistle, close windows and fast forward through dialogues, go to the lowest option when having to pick a choice. ( You can change the button in the controls, pressing the Right stick is available as a hotkey instead).
  Note: if you've already played before, this function may be linked to a different button, until you change or reset the button bindings.
  "Rami" the wum from the train finally finished his game:
• The wum in the train has finally finished his game. You can have some fun while traveling with the Popo Train. ( *His game is not actually made by Rami Ismail )
  

  Other:

• There's an additional custom setting for the game's resolution. The game will pick your screens resolution, but you can also manually adjust it in the Wuppo_config.ini by changing "custom_resolution_width".
• When you select "Return to Titlescreen" from any menu, the game will now return to the title screen without showing the intro logos.

Fixes (since 1.1.6)

• Bert Smulders Happiness glitch.
  Turns out there's been a glitch with Bert Smulder all along, whereas he's supposed to tell 5 stories but only told 3 and only gave 2 happiness. Thanks to SuperContact's Happiness & filmstrip guide for noticing it. ..... I'm very sorry for the players that spent hours looking for the last 3 happiness. At least you can all get your 100 happiness now. pls dont kill me :C
• Allesweter can no longer walk away mid-tutorial.
• The button instructions for gamepad should now display correctly at Allesweter's tutorial.

Patch 1.0.7 (04 October 2016)

Balancing

• Notorious Breevis has been nerfed a little.
• Pnakjes (the jellyfish) give a bit more HP
• Double gumcore & bigger gumcore work just as good as rapid fire now.
• You can shoot the big bubbles when you're trapped inside them and potentially escape quicker
• A little bit less damage from Breevis' body and a longer "invincibility frames" after getting hit

Bankkrent Phase 2:

• The mini Bankkrents do a bit less damage

Changes:

• Penalty for freeing prisoners has been halved
• Added sfx for grabbing and moving the prison cell doors

Fixes:

• Duping gumgumgun at Betty's store has been fixed
• That's my TV! Achievement didn't get triggered
• Beating game on hard & insane mode didn't get triggered
• Crash when dying after loading an autosave that starts underwater
• Crashes when bulk selling while simultaniously moving out of range
• Game crash after killing Kneft vermin boss (3rd time?) at Popocity
• Screen glitches near the savepot at Wumhouse Station, softlocks the game, can be remedied by reloading the save.
• stoplight filmstripfix, there was a way to miss the filmstrip from the traffic light with fists, if you missed it, you will now found it on the location where you defeated the boss.
• The 1337 error / teleport to Blafknoft's cave (rock boss battle) that some times occured when falling down through the lift tube
• Ducking when standing straight above a save bucket (even if it's on a different floor) no longer causes you to get stuck in corners.
• Fixed a bug where Rami's game would make you load your last savefile (when playing on a controller)
• Removed the tiny group of wums that visited protoprot every day in the Wumhouse. They were glitching out a lot of the time, and not really adding that much to the game.
• Crash when killing the Blione allies and asking the blione king for a candle
• 1337 error when pushing yourself out of the dark room with a bazooka
• Getting stuck in the ceiling in the Fnakker hive
• Getting stuck in the floor when ducking on Willie's Quiz mini stage
• Graphical glitch when two of the heart containers are close to each other - The second dropped bounces up and down
• Repeatedly jumped into the left large fnakker at the Fnakbal Arena and clipped through him, letting me get into the arena.
• Allesweter giving gamepad controls while playing with keyboard in 1 dialogue box
• Progression window displaying the wrong objective after beating Chef Fnaquere
