GoGet

Through this page you can transfer the list of GOG games (but not movies) you own and/or have wishlisted from GOG to MaGog, which will then allow you to perform queries based on that information.
Games that you own on GOG will be marked as "owned" in the "My Tags" field; games that you wish you owned will be marked as "wishlisted".
If you have no idea what I'm talking about when I mention "My Tags", you may first want to go through the tutorial for version 2.0.0 or later.
Although this procedure should not harm any data you might already have in MaGog, bugs do happen. If you have any existing "My Tags" data, you might want to back it up first via the "Export My Fields" feature.
To transfer the lists please follow the steps below (it may look like a long procedure, but it is actually only three steps).

  1. Make sure you are logged in to GOG.
  2. Retrieve the list of Your Owned Games on GOG.
  3. If you are using Firefox and the data is displayed in "JSON" format (the default), change the display to "Raw Data" format (the second tab along the top).
  4. Select everything on that page by using [Ctrl-A] or [Cmd-A].
  5. Copy the selection by using [Ctrl-C] or [Cmd-C].
  6. Paste the selection into the box below by using [Ctrl-V] or [Cmd-V].

  1. Decide what to do about a game that is already tagged as "wishlisted" in MaGog, yet does not appear in either of the boxes above (e.g. because you removed it from your wishlist without buying it):
  1. When you click the button below (not yet!), MaGog will parse the contents of the two boxes and identify which games you own and which you wish for.
  2. It will then mark all owned games as "owned", if not already so marked. If any owned game was previously marked as "wishlisted", it will no longer be marked as such.
  3. It will then mark all wishlisted games as "wishlisted", if not already so marked. If any wishlisted game was previously marked as "owned", it will no longer be marked as such.
  4. Like GOG, MaGog's working assumption is that a game cannot be both owned and wishlisted.
  5. Please note that the number of owned games reported by MaGog may well be different from that reported by GOG, primarily due to the Unbundling™.
  6. Also note that MaGog will inform you of any games it is unable to identify. If there are any such, please report them on the MaGog thread to help improve MaGog.
  7. Click the button and follow the prompts until done.
